Offering a blend of both Tanzania’s wildlife and its cultural heritage, our eight-days Culture and Wildlife Safari alongside the opportunity to interact with two distinct cultural groups.
Your eight-days journey includes an extensive tour of the Serengeti National Park and its many beautiful animals, a day-long game drive through the verdant Ngorongoro Crater, and a visit to the diverse landscapes of the Tarangire National Park and opportunity to see the flamingos and tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 1: ARRIVAL-ARUSHA.

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by  your driver and transferred to Arusha.Settle into your accommodation,  ready to start your safari journey proper in the morning.

Day 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.

After early breakfast, you will depart for a full day of game drive in  Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch.This park has the largest  concentration of elephants, often seen bathing in the Tarangire river,  lots of giraffes, monkeys, impalas, and many birds. It is also one of  the best places to see lions, leopards, and lions. In the late  afternoon, drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK.

After breakfast, you go on a walking tour in farming town Mto wa Mbu  with picnic lunch. This village is unique in Tanzania since it is home  to over 120 different tribes from across Africa and forms a colorful  mix of customs. Your walking guide will take you to rice and banana  plantations, a local beer factory, a school, and a carving factory.  Discover the traditional way of life of the villagers. Continue to  Lake Manyara National Park, which is only a few minutes’ drives from  Mto wa Mbu. Lake Manyara is known for its huge soda lake filled with  pink-hued flamingos, a large population of baboons, incredible  birdlife and breathtaking views. You can see giraffes, elephants,  hippos, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos, and if you are lucky you spot a  tree-climbing lion. In the late afternoon, you drive to Karatu for  dinner and overnight.

Day 4: LAKE EYASI

This day will be full of culture, with interesting encounters with a  local tribe. After breakfast, you drive to Lake Eyasi. This is an  untouched and scenically beautiful area where you can get a real  insight into the way of life of the Hadzabe Bushmen. This tribe hunts  on wild animals with bow and arrows, eating roots, honey, and wild  fruits. Visit their habitat and experience their culture first hand.  You go with the Bushman on a game walk an participate in their  real-life activities such as hunting. For a lot of people, these are  some of the most valuable and memorable experiences of their safari.  All meals and overnight will be at Lake Eyasi.

Day 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.

Depart this morning after breakfast to Serengeti National Park with  picnic lunch. This part is famous for the abundance of lions and  leopards that can usually be seen quite easily. Game viewing in this  central area is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless  plains and stunning wildlife like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes,  hippos, ostrich, aardvark, pangolin and many more. Dinner and  overnight will be at Serengeti.

Day 6: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.

Wake up early in the morning for a cup of coffee/tea and snacks then  collect your picnic breakfast and depart for a game drive. Animals are  normally seen right from the camp and in the early morning, you still  have chances to see them active. Serengeti is the park with the  largest concentration of big mammals in the world and it is where you  will see most of your exciting wildlife. The sightings in the central  Serengeti will include pride of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants,  giraffes, hippos, impalas, dik-dik, monkeys, baboons, gazelles,  warthogs, and many more. You will return to camp for hot lunch and a  short siesta, then depart for another game drive in the afternoon. In  the evening again you will seat with your guide at the fireplace and  get some information about Tanzania from the pre-colonial time to  independence until now. Dinner and overnight will  be at Serengeti.

Day 7: NGORONGORO CRATER.

Today you set off towards the Ngorongoro Crater for your last game  drive with picnic lunch. It shelters close to 30.000 animals including  the Big Five. The crater teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions,  wildebeest, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos,  cheetahs, and also the rare black rhino. The beautiful colors and  dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural  beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven  Natural Wonders. In the late afternoon, you drive to Karatu for dinner  and overnight.

Day 8: ARUSHA

After breakfast, you drive to Arusha, arriving in time for lunch at  Kibo Palace Hotel. After lunch, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro  International Airport or Arusha Airport for your departure flight.
