DAY 1
Arrive in Tanzania
On arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, you will meet your Green Planet Safaris representative who will transfer you to your Hotel for overnight.
Overnight at hotel blue sapphire – Meals Dinner and Breakfast.
DAY 2
Gombe National Park
Depart Julius Nyerere International Airport at 08:10 AM, arriving at Kigoma Airport by 12:10 PM. Transfer from Kigoma Airport to the dock in 30 minutes, then take a 2-hour boat ride to the camp, arriving by afternoon to begin your adventure.
Overnight at Mbali Mbali Gombe Camp – Meals Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
DAY 3
Gombe National Park
Start your day with an exhilarating morning chimp trekking experience, observing these incredible primates in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic hike to Jane’s Peak, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of Gombe’s lush wilderness.
Overnight at Mbali Mbali Gombe Camp – Meals Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
DAY 4
Gombe National Park
Enjoy an exciting morning chimpanzee trekking adventure, observing these fascinating primates in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, explore a nearby village, immersing yourself in local culture and traditions.
Overnight at Mbali Mbali Gombe Camp – Meals Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
DAY 5
Gombe National Park
Begin with morning chimp trekking in the park, then depart the camp for the dock in the afternoon. Take a 2-hour boat ride and arrive at Kigoma Hilltop Hotel, enjoying stunning views and comfort.
Overnight at Kigoma Hilltop hotel – Meals Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
DAY 6
Dar es Salaam
Transfer to Kigoma Airport for your Air Tanzania flight to Julius Nyerere International Airport, arriving by late morning.
Depending on your international flight, we’ll arrange an extra day room at Blue Hotel or facilitate a smooth transit for your return home.
