The Best Time To Visit Tarangire

During the dry season (June to September), wildlife gathers around the remaining waterholes in Lake Manyara National Park. However, the northern section can be busy during this time. For a more secluded experience, visit just after the wet season, typically between March and April.
Similar to other regions in northern Tanzania, the dry season runs from June to September. The two wet seasons are from March to May (long rains) and October to December (short rains). Rainfall is usually brief, so game viewing is not significantly affected.
